MedLingual is an AI-powered mobile app I designed to help people better understand their over-the-counter (OTC) medications, especially if they don’t speak English or have limited vision. Using artificial intelligence, the app identifies the medication from a photo and instantly pulls trusted, FDA-approved information—like usage, dosage, side effects, and warnings. That information is then translated into one of six supported languages and displayed in large, readable text.
This project started because I saw how easy it is for language barriers and unclear labels to cause serious confusion. My goal with MedLingual is to make medication information accessible, accurate, and safe for everyone.
